Aiken Peace's Iraq Veterans Against the War speaker Jimmy Massey garnered a frontpage story in Friday March 3rd edition of the Aiken Standard.

Massey served for 12 years with the US Marine Corps, first as an Infantry Instructor at the Marine Corps Boot Camp in South Carolina, then as a Recruiter in North Carolina, and finally as a Platoon Staff Sergeant during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Aiken Peace sponsored his visit to Aiken to speak at USC-Aiken & the Aiken Unitarian Universalist Church on Thursday March 2nd.

The Aiken Standard has invited comment on his story so please write them. At least one detractor's letter has been published in the Aiken Standard. Please forward any such comments to aiken_peace at yahoo.com so they can posted to the website.
