Some of these events are free but many of the speakers are not. Aiken Peace has not asked for membership renewals or donations in quite awhile, and our funds are dwindling. Benning, Columbus, GA Yearly protest at the gates of Ft. Benning gathers a crowd of thousands, a true gathering of the beloved community to demand the closing of the US military's training facility for Latin American soldiers that has implicated in human rights abuses.
